Appliances to be serviced by a professional (advise moving consultant if appliances are gas or electric and if fridge has ice maker)
Swing sets and garden furniture are dismantled
House cleaning
Accommodations for trip
Be present on pack, load and unload days
Place items you are taking with you in one area, to ensure that movers don’t pack them
Take child’s favourite toy with you
Set aside survival kit (things you will require when travelling and/or arrival at destination
Give a copy of floor plan of new home to driver
